The Script guitarist Mark Sheehan has died.
A consultant for the Irish rock group introduced on Friday that the musician had handed away following a “transient sickness”. He was 46.
“A lot beloved husband, father, brother, bandmate and buddy Mark Sheehan handed away as we speak in hospital after a quick sickness,” they wrote on Instagram. “The household and group ask followers to respect their privateness at this tragic time.”
Sheehan’s The Script bandmates, Danny O’Donoghue and Glen Energy, haven’t but commented on the unhappy information.
Born in Dublin, the singer/producer was additionally previously a member of the boyband Mytown alongside O’Donoghue.
They shaped The Script in 2001.
Sheehan is survived by his spouse Rina and three kids.
