Alice Cooper has introduced his twenty second solo studio album, ‘Street’, and has returned to his roots on the raucous lead single, ‘I am Alice’.
The legendary shock rocker, 75, is again together with his first new music since his 2021 LP ‘Detroit Tales’, for which he has reunited with longtime rock producer Bob Ezrin.
He is backed on the report by his revered band – comprising Ryan Roxie [guitar], Chuck Garric [bass], Tommy Henrikson [guitar], Glen Sobel [drums], and Nita Strauss [guitar].
A press launch notes that: “‘Street’ channels the spirit of old style Alice with immediately recognisable grit and loads of gusto.”
The ‘Faculty’s Out’ hitmaker commented: “For Street, I needed the band to be concerned within the basis of all of the songs.
“I solely see these guys after we’re on the street. So, I needed them to be as tight as they’re for the present however on all new materials. When you will have a band this good, I imagine in displaying it off, and that is my manner of doing so.”
On ‘I am Alice’, which is out now, the ‘Feed My Frankenstein’ rocker – who dons his signature goth clown eyeliner look within the music video – declares himself: “The Grasp of Insanity; the Sultan of Shock…so don’t be afraid, simply look into my eyes.”
The brand new LP will likely be launched on August 25 and is accompanied by a bonus DVD/Blu-ray of Alice’s full reside present at Hellfest 2022.
Alice can also be at the moment touring with The Hollywood Vampires, his supergroup with Aerosmith’s Joe Perry, Johnny Depp and Tommy from his personal touring band.
