The Drake–Kendrick Lamar showdown will proceed — on the 2024 BET Awards.

The rappers will compete in two classes on the June 30 present: finest male hip-hop artist and finest collaboration. Within the latter class, Drake is nominated for “Wealthy Child Daddy” with SZA and Sexyy Pink, whereas Lamar is nominated for his visitor verse on the remix of Beyoncé’s “America Has a Downside.”

SZA, J. Cole, Sexyy Pink and Monét earned 5 nominations apiece. Acts who scored 4 nominations are Beyoncé, Usher, Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, 21 Savage and Tyla.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s 12-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter — who has received a Grammy, NAACP Picture Award and Soul Prepare Music Award — is nominated for the YoungStars Award, which honors youngster and teenage entertainers. Different nominees are Akira Akbar, Demi Singleton, Heiress Diana Harris, Jabria Mccullum, Jalyn Corridor, Leah Jeffries and Van Van.
