Scorching 97’s Funkmaster Flex — who’s been a staple on New York Metropolis airwaves for many years — isn’t feeling Tommy Richman’s “Million Greenback Child.”

In truth, the legendary DJ went on an epic rant about how a lot he doesn’t just like the music and went so far as to name those that do prefer it “clowns.”

“In case you’re somebody that likes this music, you’re a clown,” Flex mentioned. “This music… I don’t know what the remainder of his songs sound like. I don’t even know who Tommy Richman is. Appears like a shoe retailer. Now we’re gonna doc this scorching rubbish. We’re gonna play it now, I do know you wish to hear it. I’m wondering if that is large within the membership.”

He then says, “See this half is deceiving prefer it could be a superb music,” when speaking over the music’s intro. Including, “Watch the horrible half because it is available in… the place you hear the tin can drums,” because the beat begins to construct and Tommy Richman’s voice will be heard.

This rant comes at an opportune time for the Virginia singer, since he’s making an announcement Tuesday on his Instagram Story. A couple of days in the past, he dropped a teaser on his IG for his subsequent single with the caption, “Satan is a lie.” So perhaps this announcement has one thing to do with that.

“Million Greenback Child” at present sits at No. 3 on the Billboard Scorching 100 and has been on the charts for the final 5 weeks, peaking at No. 2.

Looks as if lots of clownery is occurring.
