All members of MOMOLAND have reportedly parted methods with the company MLD Leisure after seven years as a gaggle.
In a press assertion to South Korean media outlet TenAsia, MLD Leisure introduced that, following a dialogue with the company and the lady group’s members, all six idols of MOMOLAND wouldn’t be renewing their unique contracts with the corporate.
“We wish to specific our gratitude to Momoland for working with us for a very long time and we are going to proceed to root for the way forward for all members,” MLD Leisure wrote in a press assertion, per Kpop Herald. It’s unclear if MOMOLAND will proceed promotions as a gaggle following their departure from the company.
MOMOLAND had been shaped via 2016 survival present Discovering MOMOLAND. The group debuted in 2017 with mini-album ‘Welcome to Momoland’, led by title monitor ‘Jjan! Koong! Kwang!’.
In 2019, founding member Yeonwoo and member Taeha would half methods with the group. Daisy would later depart the group in 2020, and has since claimed that she was “fired” from MOMOLAND.
Over the course of their profession, MOMOLAND have launched one studio album, three single albums and 6 mini-albums. The group’s final launch was 2022 single ‘Yummy Yummy Love’, that includes Dominican singer Natti Natasha.
‘Yummy Yummy Love’ was MOMOLAND’s first launch after a year-long absence, following their ‘Wrap Me In Plastic’, their February 2021 collaboration with producer CHROMANCE.
