Joe Bonsall, the tenor in The Oak Ridge Boys, died Tuesday from issues of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), the group introduced on its web site and social media accounts.

He was 76 and died in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Bonsall had introduced his retirement from touring in the beginning of the 12 months.
