In the 90’s and 2000’s, singer songwriter E.L. Davis was an integral part of the San Francisco music scene, performing and writing material with numerous bands.
Seeking new challenges and experiences Davis left the U.S. and decided to head East. Davis spent 15-years living in Asia, immersing himself in other cultures and fine tuning his musical perspicacity.
Reflective practice and a wealth of life experiences has empowered Davis to create exciting material which connects and conveys his passion for life.
This collection of songs came to life as he strummed an acoustic guitar on the rooftop stairwell of the 8-story apartment complex where he was living in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
In March 2019, Davis returned to California to work with producer and long-time co-conspirator Todd Herfindal at his solar-powered Sun Studio in Los Angeles.
The aim was to record a poignant, heartfelt collection of songs which drew upon Davis’s experiences.
The goal was achieved and far surpassed, blooming into the new EP entitled BRAVE SONGS.
