The Bandier Program for Recording and Leisure Industries has fashioned its inaugural advisory board, the college introduced Tuesday.
The music enterprise program at Syracuse College’s Newhouse College has fashioned its first-ever advisory board comprised of alumni and consultants within the music subject. The group “will play necessary roles in shaping the way forward for one of many high music enterprise applications within the nation,” in line with a launch.
The 13-member board contains a number of staff of business mainstays together with Warner Chappell, Virgin Music, Sony Music Nashville, Interscope Information, Sirius XM and Sony Music Publishing. They may work with Bandier program director Invoice Werde and managing director Lisa Steele to “help this system’s mission by offering mentorship and facilitating job placement,” in line with a launch.
“The various abilities and profession paths of the 13 inaugural members of the Advisory Board shine a light-weight on the legacy of excellence in music enterprise training at Syracuse College and the Newhouse College,” Dean Mark Lodato stated in a press release. “On behalf of the college, let me prolong our gratitude to those proficient, profitable professionals for taking the time to share their insights and dealing towards our frequent objective of serving to Bandier college students succeed.”
Bandier’s bachelor program had its top notch graduate in 2011. The Newhouse College has launched music enterprise grasp’s diploma program that’s anticipated to launch in subsequent fall semester in partnership with the School of Visible and Performing Arts.
The board contains Jon Cohen, Alex Coslov, Joel Klaiman, Gabz Landman, Caitlin Lytle, Steve Magee, Grant Palmer, Joey Papoutsis, Jacqueline Saturn, Justin Shukat, CJ Strock, Margaret Tomlin and Max Weinberg.
The diploma program is called after music publishing government Martin Bandier, a veteran of EMI and later Sony Music Publishing, who serves a life trustee on the college.
