Chloe Bailey dropped the second single, “How Does It Really feel” that includes Chris Brown, from her upcoming debut album on Friday (Feb. 24).
In his “How Does It Really feel” announcement submit on Instagram, Brown gassed up his collaborator by writing, “You’re a lovely soul… TAKE OVER THE WORLD SHAWTY and DONT LOOK BACK! YOU ARE A QUEEN! DONT LET NOBODY TELL YOU NO DIFFERENT! You adopted your desires and now the universe is fulfilling that manifestation.”
Chloe replied beneath, “Can’t await the world to listen to the magic we created.”
“How Does It Really feel” follows the primary single (or piece, slightly) “Pray It Away” from Chloe’s debut challenge In Items, which arrives in March through Parkwood Leisure/Columbia Data. No precise launch date has been introduced but.
In an August interview with Essence, Bailey — who’s one half of the sister duo Chloe x Halle — defined that her album is “every thing that I’ve been going by way of, all of the tearing down, individuals underestimating, telling me I can’t do it — all of these issues have gone into the music.” She added, “The album is me choosing myself up and speaking myself out of any little place or area that the world has tried to place me in, that individuals and private relationships have tried to place me in, and even [doing that to] myself. It’s me breaking free.”
Chloe launched into her solo profession in 2021, across the time her sister Halle started filming for the live-action remake of Disney’s The Little Mermaid, through which she performs the lead Ariel. Chloe launched her debut solo single “Have Mercy” and carried out it on the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards simply days later.
