After chopping seven studio albums, altering fashion and music route within the fickle pop world, and surviving a close to deadly overdose, sure, Demi Lovato is nonetheless alive.
On the stroke of midnight, the U.S. artist dropped “Nonetheless Alive,” her contribution to the Scream VI soundtrack.
It’s the primary style of Lovato’s new music since releasing her seventh studio album, Holy Fvck, again in 2022.
The pop-punk fueled full-length contained collaborations with Yungblud, Royal & the Serpent and Useless Sara and finally topped three separate Billboard tallies: High Rock & Various Albums, High Rock Albums and High Various Albums.
Mike Shinoda is on manufacturing duties for “Nonetheless Alive,” which sees Lovato cruising in that pop-punk lane and spitting out lyrics that illustrate a residing hell.
On it, she sings: “Already died a thousand instances / Went to hell however I’m again and I’m respiratory / Make me bleed whereas my coronary heart remains to be beating / Nonetheless alive”.
Lovato, after all, got here very near dropping all of it when she overdosed on heroin in 2018. She’s since spoken candidly in regards to the incident, and the continued street to restoration from a binge that left her with three strokes, a coronary heart assault, and blind spots in her imaginative and prescient.
