Royel Otis have shared a brand new single – take heed to the intense and summery ‘Couch King’ under.

Following current singles ‘I Wanna Dance With You’ and ‘Kool Support’, the monitor marks the third preview of the Australian duo’s forthcoming EP ‘Couch Kings’, which will likely be launched on March 31 by way of OURNESS.

‘Couch King’ arrives with an accompanying music video, which sees the band – who appeared within the NME 100 2023 – pay homage to their hometown of Sydney, as they carry out the track in opposition to the backdrop of a coastal cliff.

Forming in 2020, Royel Otis launched debut EP ‘Campus’ the next 12 months. Their breakout single ‘Oysters In My Pocket’ arrived in 2022, taken from second EP ‘Bar & Grill’.

Chatting with NME earlier this 12 months, guitarist Royel Maddell teased the band’s forthcoming debut album, describing how a current UK journey noticed them “speed-dating” producers, hitting the studio with Speedy Wunderground boss Dan Carey and James Ford, Arctic Monkeys’ longtime producer. “Lots of my favorite Australian acts have by no means gone additional than taking part in in Sydney, which is sort of unhappy,” he stated. “So to have the ability to work within the UK has been an actual dream.”
