Jana Kramer took to social media on Monday (March 27) to replace followers on her children amid the mass capturing at Nashville’s Covenant Faculty.
The One Tree Hill alum, who lives in Music Metropolis, assured followers the tragedy didn’t happen on the college her children — seven-year-old Jolie and four-year-old Jace — attend. “It wasn’t their college,” she wrote in an Instagram Story. “I do know somebody that works there although and we’ve got pals which have children there… All of it simply feels too near dwelling. I simply don’t perceive. We want prayers after which motion.”
“We shouldn’t need to worry dropping our youngsters [off] in school and fearing them not coming dwelling,” she continued. “Simply wish to squeeze them asap. first flight out tomorrow am now.”
Kramer reiterated her concern for her children whereas attending the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards on the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. “Individuals are like, ‘Who’re you carrying?’ I’m like, ‘I don’t care. I wish to go hug my children proper now,” she stated on the crimson carpet. “Their dad picked them up in school, and so they’re good.”
Tragically, three college students and three employees members have been killed by a shooter on the college — which is situated on the grounds of Covenant Presbyterian Church within the Nashville neighborhood of Inexperienced Hills — armed with two AR-style weapons and a pistol. Among the many murdered have been three nine-year-old third graders, a 61-year-old substitute trainer, the varsity’s janitor and the top administrator of the varsity.
