50 Cent is strolling again his phrases about Megan Thee Stallion.
In a radio interview with Massive Boy, revealed Wednesday (Jan. 11), the “In da Membership” rapper shared that he now feels compelled to apologize to Megan for believing she lied about having an intimate relationship with Tory Lanez, now that the trial has revealed extra particulars concerning the 2020 capturing.
“I’m gonna apologize to Megan Thee Stallion,” 50 advised Massive Boy (on the 7:50 mark of the interview above). “I mentioned some issues, and it was as a result of… On social media I posted issues that — when she was with Gayle [King] — she mentioned, ‘Have been you intimate with Tory Lanez?’ And he or she mentioned, ‘What?’ and it was like, ‘No.’ And I used to be like, ‘Ah, she mendacity.’ At that time I knew she was mendacity, it wouldn’t be no cause for them to be round one another. From that, it felt like she was mendacity, to me.”
The Energy actor added that he “ought to apologize to her, as a result of after I heard the [jail] cellphone dialog [between Lanez and Meg’s former best friend Kelsey Harris] … That made me really feel like, ‘Oh sh–, now I do know what occurred.’ I’m certain that was most likely what swayed folks in court docket too.”
50 Cent’s apology comes after he shared a meme to Instagram in December evaluating Megan to Jussie Smollett, the previous Empire actor who lied about being bodily attacked in a 2019 hate crime that included each racist and homophobic slurs. “Rattling I’m confused all this sh– going round I don’t know what to assume LOL,” he wrote at the time.
A verdict was reached in Megan and Lanez’s trial on Dec. 23: Lanez was discovered responsible of assault with a semiautomatic firearm; carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a car; and discharging a firearm with gross negligence. He faces as much as 22 years in jail, along with his sentencing happening Jan. 27.
