Black Heritage Music Pageant takes heart stage

TAMPA, Fla. – The twenty third annual Tampa Bay Black Heritage Music Pageant kicked off Saturday at Curtis Hixon Park.
The competition goals to advertise variety and cultural sensitivity by music, artwork, meals, and extra.
“It feels actually good to only see everyone united for the African Heritage Pageant, the vibe is nice, the spirit is nice, the meals smells good, the music is nice, simply general feels good,” stated Quentin “Funky Dineva” Latham from Fox Soul.
The music competition at Curtis Hixon Park is simply two days out of ten complete days of occasions, which all the time fall the weekend earlier than and the weekend after the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. vacation.

“It began out as a small neighborhood occasion that was really held proper up the road at a small park, it has grown over time and now we’ve got a number of thousand who come out over the course of the weekend,” stated Tre Brady.
It’s now the most important competition within the Bay Space honoring African American tradition with occasions geared towards everybody and all ages.
