Dave Matthews Band are only a month from releasing their tenth studio album, Stroll Across the Moon, and on Thursday (April 20), the band dropped the second single from the mission.
“Monsters” captures a way of nostalgia with its craving guitars and lyrics. “Chutes and ladders / Choose up sticks / Counting playing cards and counting bricks / Driving previous that previous 5 and dime / Can’t get nothing for a nickel since an extended very long time,” frontman Dave Matthews sings on the observe.
The tune follows the forthcoming album’s beforehand launched lead single, “Madman’s Eyes.” Stroll Round The Moon, out Might 19 through RCA Data, is Dave Matthews Band’s first album in 4 years.
