Add one other entry to Missy Elliott’s already prolonged checklist of credit. The Rock & Roll Corridor of Fame nominee and Grammy-winning artist will visitor star on Cartoon Community’s hit collection Craig of the Creek. The episode will premiere Monday, April 3 (5 p.m. ET/PT).
Titled “The Soar Off,” the episode finds collection characters Craig, Cannonball, Sparkle Cadet and Diane gearing up for a Double Dutch event. When the group asks Craig’s mother Nicole for a number of pointers, she tells them a narrative about her personal Double Dutch rivalry with a woman named Carla Frazier, voiced by Elliott, on the regionals (pictured holding the trophy within the artwork above).
“I’m so excited to be a part of this Craig of the Creek episode,” Elliott tells Billboard completely by way of e mail. “Voicing the Carla character was excellent for me as I’m an enormous Double Dutch fan. I hope the followers benefit from the episode!”
