Mick Fleetwood’s restaurant in Maui has been destroyed by the devastating wildfires.
On Tuesday, a mixture of drought circumstances and hurricane winds led to widespread wildfires throughout the Hawaiian island of Maui, displacing hundreds of residents and killing a minimum of 55 folks.
The Fleetwood Mac co-founder and drummer revealed on Thursday that Fleetwood’s on Entrance Road, his restaurant and bar within the coastal city of Lahaina, had been destroyed.
“MAUl and The Lahaina neighborhood have been my residence for a number of many years,” he wrote on social media. “This can be a devastating second for MAUl and plenty of are struggling unimaginable loss. Fleetwoods on Entrance Road has been misplaced and whereas we’re heartbroken our foremost precedence is the protection of our pricey employees and crew members.
“On behalf of myself and my household I share my heartfelt ideas and prayers for the folks of MAUI. We’re dedicated to supporting the neighborhood and people affected by this catastrophe within the days and months and years to return.”
