H.E.R., Megan Thee Stallion and Usher have been among the many winners throughout Evening 1 of the NAACP Picture Awards, which have been unveiled Monday throughout a digital ceremony.
Usher was named excellent male artist, H.E.R. received the award for excellent feminine artist, and Megan Thee Stallion received for excellent hip-hop/rap track for “Cobra.”
Different winners included Victoria Monét, Tems, Kirk Franklin and Chris Brown.
Khleo Thomas hosted the NAACP Digital Picture Awards present. Non-televised awards in different classes shall be handed out in digital exhibits on Tuesday and Wednesday. Further awards shall be handed out at a dinner hosted by Sherri Shepherd on Thursday and at a trend present hosted by Brandee Evans on Friday. Frankie Beverly shall be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at Thursday’s dinner, whereas June Ambrose will obtain the NAACP Vanguard Award for Trend at Friday’s Trend Present.
On Saturday, the fifty fifth NAACP Picture Awards will air reside at 8 p.m. ET/PT on BET and CBS with Queen Latifah internet hosting.
