Paisley Park Enterprises introduced Thursday (Aug. 24) that it’s going to launch a brilliant deluxe version of Diamonds and Pearls, the thirteenth studio album by the Excessive Priest of Pop. Diamonds and Pearls — which marked Prince’s first album with backing band The New Energy Technology — shall be reissued by a partnership with Sony Music and shall be accessible by all bodily, digital and streaming companions. The album will include a complete of 47 beforehand unreleased tracks, along with an unreleased two-hour live performance from Prince’s vault.
