Prolific songwriter Cynthia Weil has died on the age of 82.
Weil, who was greatest recognized for her songwriting partnership together with her husband Barry Mann, handed away on Thursday evening.
Their daughter, TV psychotherapist Dr. Jenn Mann, instructed TMZ, “My mom, Cynthia Weil, was the best mom, grandmother and spouse our household might ever ask for. She was my greatest buddy, confidant, and my companion in crime and an idol and trailblazer for girls in music.”
Mann, who was married to Weil for nearly 62 years, added, “I am a fortunate man. I had two for one, my spouse and one of many biggest songwriters on this planet, my soul and inspiration.”
