SZA is loving Billie Eilish’s Hit Me Arduous and Mushy.
The “Kill Invoice” singer took to X on Monday (June 3) to gush over Eilish’s third studio album, which arrived on Might 17. “Billie went f—ing loopy. This album is beautiful,” SZA wrote.
Produced as standard by the pop star’s brother and longtime collaborator, Finneas, the 10-track set marks Eilish’s third studio LP, following 2019’s When We All Fall Asleep, The place Do We Go? and 2021’s Happier Than Ever, each of which spent three weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. No singles preceded the challenge, with the 22-year-old singer telling followers from the second she introduced it, “i wanna give it to you unexpectedly.”
On the Billboard 200 chart dated June 1, Hit Me Arduous and Mushy debuted at No. 2.
“Each time you place something out, it looks like your nudes leaked a bit bit,” the nine-time Grammy winner beforehand informed Apple Music’s Zane Lowe of the album. “I believe this one particularly is like that. One thing that Finneas and I mentioned to a few folks after we began to play it for folks is we sort of made the album that if any person had mentioned, ‘I would like you to make an album and nobody goes to listen to it. You don’t have to fret about anybody’s ears or opinions or something in any respect. It’s in your contract to make an album however nobody can hear it.’ We just about made that album. We made that album with out a lot considered different folks.”
