The Strokes had a magical expertise working with Rick Rubin.
The ‘Late Nite’ hitmakers are but to formally introduced their seventh album – the follow-up to 2020’s ‘The New Irregular’ – however they teamed up with the legendary producer within the mountains in Costa Rica.
Reflecting on the classes, guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. advised Maxim: “I don’t suppose if I advised you what it seemed like and what it was, you’d absolutely perceive the ‘magical-ness’ of the place we had been and the way it was to report like that.
“It felt actually touching that one among his favourite recording experiences was this one he simply had proper now.”
Though there isn’t a timeline on the subsequent LP, Albert admitted the gathering could possibly be even higher than their iconic 2001 debut ‘Is This It’.

Rubin first teamed up with the band in 2017, once they first began engaged on ‘The New Irregular’, which included singles reminiscent of ‘Dangerous Selections’ and ‘The Adults Are Speaking’.
