Nigerian famous person Asake, his label EMPIRE and the Jean-Michel Basquiat: King Pleasure exhibition introduced on Saturday (July 15) that they’re curating a particular occasion stuffed with artwork, music and drinks in Los Angeles, Calif. subsequent week.

Basquiat’s sisters Lisane Basquiat and Jeanine Heriveaux function the manager producers and curators of the Jean-Michel Basquiat: King Pleasure© exhibition, in collaboration with Ileen Gallagher and ISG Productions Ltd. The exhibition consists of almost 200 hardly ever seen work, drawings, ephemera and artifacts from the late, nice artist in addition to recreations of his NYC artist studio on Nice Jones St., the Basquiat household residence and the Michael Todd VIP Room of NYC’s iconic Palladium nightclub, for which Basquiat created two large-scale work.
