Chlöe Bailey is gearing as much as launch her debut solo album In Items in March 31, and to have fun, the R&B star revealed on Tuesday (Feb. 28) that she’s heading out on her first-ever headlining North American tour.
The 11-date gig will kick off on April 11 on the Riviera Theatre in Chicago and contains stops in New York, Atlanta and extra earlier than concluding at The Novo in Los Angeles on Might 3. Chlöe’s In Items will function lead single “Pray It Away” in addition to her lately launched Chris Brown collaboration, “How Does It Really feel.” In an August interview with Essence, the singer — who’s one half of the sister duo Chloe x Halle — defined that her album is “every part that I’ve been going via, all of the tearing down, folks underestimating, telling me I can’t do it — all of these issues have gone into the music.” She added, “The album is me choosing myself up and speaking myself out of any little place or area that the world has tried to place me in, that folks and private relationships have tried to place me in, and even [doing that to] myself. It’s me breaking free.”
