As noticed by HipHopDX, on Saturday (Nov. 18), photographer Brent Kore posted a picture of Drizzy’s new face artwork on his Instagram Tales, capturing the phrase “miskeen” in an arch over Drake’s eye.
The phrase is usually used within the giant Somali neighborhood in Drake’s Toronto residence city and comes from the Arabic phrase “miskin,” which is usually outlined as “misfortunate” or “poor”; the College of Toronto journal gave the interpretation as “a pathetic individual or state of affairs.” Take a look at a picture of the tattoo here. At press time it didn’t seem that Drake had posted a picture of his newest ink or defined its significance.
It joins one other homage on his face that the 6 God bought final summer time, his mom’s initials, SG (for Sandra Gale), underneath his left eye.
