KISS briefly paused their live performance in Brazil this week as Gene Simmons felt weak attributable to dehydration.

The 73-year-old bassist-and-vocalist needed to be attended to throughout their set in Manaus, Brazil, on Wednesday night time (12.04.23).

He left the stage for round 5 minutes, in accordance with ACritica, earlier than persevering with with the efficiency.

His bandmate Paul Stanley had observed Gene sitting down wanting unwell and advised the group: “We’re gonna need to cease.

Gene tried to hold on performing ‘Say Yeah’ seated earlier than he bought again up on his toes.

The ‘Rock and Roll All Nite’ star later reassured followers that he was doing OK and easily wanted to drink water.

He tweeted: “Hey all people, thanks for the great needs.

“I’m tremendous. Yesterday at Manaus Stadium in Brazil, [I] skilled weak point due to dehydration. We stopped for about 5 minutes, I drank some water, after which all was properly. Nothing severe.”

The band – who’re on their ‘Finish Of The Street’ farewell tour – will return to the stage on Saturday night time (15.04.23) for Colombia’s Monsters Of Rock Competition on the Bogota Stadium.

In the meantime, A KISS biopic is heading to Netflix in 2024.

The band’s supervisor, Doc McGhee, has revealed the movie, which was first talked about in 2021, will observe the primary 4 years of the glam steel legends’ profession.
