The property of George Michael have paid tribute to supermodel Tatjana Patitz.
Patitz, who rose to prominence as one of many first “unique supermodels” within the eighties and nineties died earlier this week (January 11), aged 56. The information was confirmed by her agent Corinne Nicolas who mentioned that the reason for dying was sickness, however no additional data was given.
Patitz starred in a number of music movies on the top of her fame, most famously in Michael’s ‘Freedom’ video alongside fashions Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista and Naomi Campbell.
Of their tribute to Patitz, the property shared an image of the mannequin together with a caption: “In loving reminiscence and thanks for all the pieces. George Michael Leisure.”

Supermodel Crawford, who appeared in Michael’s video alongside Patitz, shared her personal tribute to the mannequin on Instagram saying she was “so unhappy” to listen to of Patitz’s passing.
“We have been infants collectively within the trend trade and I really feel like we grew up collectively,” she wrote.
“I discovered her soft-spoken, delicate, sort, inquisitive and, who may ever overlook these piercing eyes. Her love of animals and nature was infectious. Sending my condolences to her household – particularly the son she adored. RIP.”
Chief working officer of Conde Nast and world editorial director of Vogue, Anna Wintour, described Patitz because the “European image of stylish, like Romy Schneider-meets-Monica Vitti”.
She informed Vogue.com Patitz was “far much less seen than her friends, extra mysterious, extra grown-up, extra unattainable, and that had its personal enchantment”.
Patitz is survived by her 19-year-old son, Jonah Patitz.
