Girl Gaga is rebooting her Jazz & Piano residency present on the Dolby Reside at Park MGM in Las Vegas. The singer introduced on Monday morning (July 31) that the present might be again for 12 dates between Aug. 31 and Oct. 5.
Gaga launched Jazz & Piano in January 2019, enjoying exhibits interchangeably along with her extra elaborate pop-oriented Enigma present. The step again into the jazz concentration is going to come lower than a month after the passing of Gaga’s good friend and musical mentor, Tony Bennett. Over the weekend, Gaga paid loving tribute to Bennett, who died on July 21 at age 96 of undisclosed causes.
“I’ll miss my good friend eternally. I’ll miss singing with him, recording with him, speaking with him, being on stage collectively,” Gaga wrote alongside an Instagram picture of Bennett giving her a heat hug. “With Tony, I bought to dwell my life in a time warp. Tony & I had this magical energy. We transported ourselves to a different period, modernized the music collectively, & gave all of it new life as a singing duo. However it wasnt an act. Our relationship was very actual.”
Gaga carried out with Bennett at New York’s Radio Metropolis Music Corridor in August 2021 throughout two “One Final Time: An Night with Tony Bennett and Girl Gaga” exhibits that marked the legendary crooner’s final dwell performances. The singer first teamed up along with her musical hero on “The Girl Is a Tramp” from Bennett’s Duets II album.
