UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Political Track-a-Palooza, a musical occasion sponsored by Penn State College Libraries to showcase new, previous and unique political or protest music carried out by college students, school and employees at Penn State, is now accepting video and audio auditions.
Auditions are open by way of Saturday, Jan. 29, by way of audio or video file submissions to psap2023@gmail.com. All kinds of performers are welcome to use, from a cappella teams, soloists, singer/songwriters, bands, spoken phrase artists and extra.
Hosted on the State Theatre in downtown State School on Thursday, April 20, the reside occasion will deal with amplifying and sharing numerous voices of the Penn State group. Occasion coordinators are searching for performances that embody songs from throughout geographies, actions, and time intervals which have contributed to political dialogue and formed cultural and political landscapes.
