Costa Titch has died on the age of 27.
The rap star – whose actual title was Constantinos Tsobanoglou – was performing on the Extremely music competition Extremely music competition in Florida on Saturday (11.03.23) when he reportedly collapsed and died on the spot.
In an announcement, the household stated: “Demise has tragically knocked at our door. Robbing us of our beloved son, brother and grandson, Constantinos Tsobanoglou (28), who South Africa had come to like and idolize below his stage title “Costa Titch”. It’s with deep ache that we discover ourselves having to acknowledge his passing at the moment.
We’re grateful for the emergency responders and all these current in his final hours on this earth.
“As a household we’re confronted with a troublesome time as we attempt to make sense of what has befallen us and ask that we be afforded the time and house to collect ourselves.”
The household went on so as to add that in reminiscence of their son – who was recognized for hits reminiscent of ‘Large Flexa’ and ‘Goat’ they’d respect it if his followers would cotinue to “uplift him in spirit” and preserve them of their ideas and prayers.
It continued: “The Tsobanoglou household thanks you for the love and assist you may have given to our son and will you proceed to uplift him even in spirit. Please preserve us in your prayers and uplifted within the Lord.”
In tribute, TV star Oti Mabuse wrote: “Relaxation in peace” while boy band NSG remarked that his “legacy will dwell on endlessly.”
Fellow musician Priddy Ugly wrote: “Your star continues to rise, even in your ascension. In our hearts within the sky, you’ll dwell endlessly. Sincerest condolences to his family members, associates, household the Titch Gang.”
