Roger Waters is addressing widespread backlash he’s acquired after sporting a Nazi-like uniform throughout his current live shows in Berlin.
On Friday (Could 26), the Pink Floyd co-founder shared a press release on social media about his controversial Could 17-18 reveals at Berlin’s Mercedes-Benz Area, which have prompted an investigation by German police.
“My current efficiency in Berlin has attracted unhealthy religion assaults from those that need to smear and silence me as a result of they disagree with my political opinions and ethical ideas,” Waters wrote in his assertion, which was posted on Twitter.
“The weather of my efficiency which were questioned are fairly clearly a press release in opposition to fascism, injustice, and bigotry in all its types. Makes an attempt to painting these parts as one thing else are disingenuous and politically motivated.”
