Romy has confirmed that she has been again within the studio with The xx this 12 months engaged on new music.

The singer launched her debut solo album ‘Mid-Air’ this month, and informed Spanish publication Binaural {that a} break was needed for her and bandmates Oliver Sim and Jamie xx to strive new issues.

In a current interview with Matt Wilkinson on his Apple Music 1 present, Romy mentioned what a possible new document with The xx might sound like, and that she’s “excited to select up the guitar once more”.

A string of North American exhibits will happen in early December, with stop-offs scheduled in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Toronto and New York.
