Sia has revealed that she is on the autism spectrum.

Throughout an episode of Rob Has a Podcast hosted by Rob Cesternino, the 47-year-old singer indicated that she obtained a late analysis.

“I am on the spectrum, and I am in restoration and no matter – there’s a whole lot of issues,” she stated. “For 45 years, I used to be like… ‘I’ve bought to place my human go well with on. And solely within the final two years have I turn out to be absolutely, absolutely myself.”

The Chandelier singer, who has been open about her battle with substance abuse, opened up extra about her sobriety and being neuroatypical as she spoke to Survivor contestant Carolyn Wiger.

The announcement comes two years after the performer was closely criticised for casting her longtime collaborator, Maddie Ziegler, who’s neurotypical, as a nonverbal autistic character in her 2021 characteristic directorial debut, Music.
