Former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony has revealed there’s a “ton of stuff” they may launch from Eddie Van Halen’s 5150 music archives.
The musician says there’s a trove of tracks that the late axe-slayer – who handed away after a prolonged battle with most cancers in October 2020 on the age of 65 – left behind and his son Wolfgang Van Halen and brother Alex Van Halen have the mammoth process of going via it.
In addition to the ‘Proper Right here, Proper Now’ dwell album from 1992, the band are additionally engaged on some re-issues from the Sammy Hagar years.
The previous frontman was the singer from 1985 to 1996, earlier than returning in 2003 till 2005.

Talking on SiriusXM in November, Sammy stated: “So far as I do know, [there has been] nothing.

Then I bought the decision from the administration, I bought the decision from Irving Azoff, [who] stated, ‘Hey, you wanna do you and Mike [Anthony] and Al with a celebrity guitar participant?’”
Nonetheless, he instructed them: “There is no such thing as a Van Halen. I don’t care what anybody says.”
Sammy says Alex has an issue with him that he believes he is gonna “take to his grave”.
