New 12 months, new TWICE! Simply three days into 2023, the Okay-pop group is already gearing as much as launch its first single of the 12 months within the upcoming weeks.
On Tuesday (Jan. 3), the woman group — which consists of members Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu — tweeted to share the discharge particulars and title for a model new track recorded in English. “TWICE Pre-Launch English Single ‘MOONLIGHT SUNRISE,’” the idols revealed. “Worldwide Launch on 2023.01.20 FRI 2PM KST/0AM (12 a.m.) EST.”
“Moonlight Dawn” would be the first single to reach from TWICE’s forthcoming twelfth mini album, Our Youth. The Okay-pop stars shared the information in an announcement on Dec. 20, stating that the only launch and mini album — which is slated to reach a while in March — are “first, 1/4 of 2023.” No additional particulars concerning the album’s launch or further contents had been offered on the time.
“Moonlight Dawn” will function the follow-up to TWICE’s first-ever English single, “The Feels.” Launched in October of 2021, the monitor gave the woman group its debut on the Billboard Scorching 100; the track landed at No. 83 and spending every week on the chart. Elsewhere, the monitor peaked at Nos. 10 and 12 on the Billboard International Excl. U.S. and Billboard International 200 charts, respectively. “The Feels” moreover earned chart placements on the Billboard Okay-Pop 100, Digital Tune Gross sales and extra.
