A girl went overboard from the Royal Caribbean ship the Explorer of the Seas in the course of the first day of The 80s Cruise, a nostalgia cruise that includes musical acts corresponding to Squeeze, Adam Ant, Tiffany and Males at Work.
A number of sources aboard Explorer of the Seas confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter {that a} search operation involving a number of ships was carried out after a lady went overboard round 11 p.m. on March 3. It’s unclear what brought about the incident. Sources say the Explorer of the Seas continued on with its deliberate journey with the U.S. Coast Guard taking on the search operation.
THR communicated with one passenger, who wished to stay nameless, about what occurred. “[The incident] occurred round 11 p.m. Squeeze was the band taking part in final night time. There was an announcement over the PA saying somebody went overboard so the ship was going to cease and switch round to attempt to find the individual.”
The passenger added, “[The] ship was stopped for just a few hours. Security boats have been deployed with floodlights to light up the encircling space. In a followup tweet, Markee tweeted, “It seems to be like the lady “jumped” from the balcony of her eighth ground room after an argument along with her companion. That is our fifteenth cruise, and the primary time we’ve really skilled this.”
